Mission is the heart of New Life Presbyterian Church. As we make clear in our values, we are called to serve others and not ourselves. We could tell you what we can do for you: uplifting music, relevant messages, great children and youth programs – but that’s not enough. As Rick Warren stated in the opening statement of The Purpose Driven Life, “It’s not about you”. Jesus reminds us, “when you have done this for the least of these my
friends, you have done it for me”. We are about doing for others. Not merely with our pocketbooks and checkbooks, but by being there. Jesus didn’t send someone else in His place. “The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us” If Jesus came to us to show His love, let us go to His people to show His love. And ours.
